What is a tumour?
A
- An abnormal mass of cells that results from the uncontrolled growth and division of a group of cells

Why are only some tumours considered cancerous?
A
- Benign tumours are contained in one place, usually in a membrane
- Malignant tumours spread to different parts of the body (through the bloodstream) and cause secondary tumours
