Constitution
Splits government’s power between national and provincial governments different levels of government have political sovereignty in specific areas
Federal System
Economic system where free of chose and individual incentive for workers, investors, consumers, and business enterprises are emphasized
Capitalism
Where all property is owned by the state and wages and services are distributed by the government to meet the needs of each individual regardless of each person’s contribution
Communism
A system with a single ruler whose is limited by tradition or law
Monarchy
A system with power in the hands of a limited few
Oligarchy
All key owes to the control government; has the power to create state, provincial, or other local governments
Unitary System
Buyers and sellers should determine what is produced and purchased
Laissez-Faire

Republic
A system with a single ruler possessing all power
Autocracy

- Evolutionary Theory: Start with a family and chooses someone is act as a chief
- Force Theory: One person decides that he has more control over everyone else using their physical mind
- Social Contract: People surrender freedom to the state but receive order and security; “written record”
- Divine Right Theory: Grant to the power to rule granted by a higher power beside man
