  • Bones, stones, abd groans, psych moans and fatgiue
  • Renal stones, polyuria, HTN, constipation,
  • Increased PTH & Ca
  • Bisphosphonates; parathyoidectomy

  • Ca high,
  • Fluids, get em peeing

  • Often mistaken for neuro disorder (results in increased excitation of nerve and muscle cells)
  • Most common cause=CKD; HypoPTH
  • Muscle spasms and cramps, convulsions, parathesias,
  • Low Ca; check PTH, Vit. D, Chvostek, trousseau
  • Severe: Ca gluconate; Ca infusion; Mild: Oral Ca
