634 Loss of Heater O2 (64-EOP-5043) Flashcards

CCR/OPER - 1.1.1 - IF outlet temperature on Reactor Feed Heater (634F0001), is not responding to changes in Fuel Gas flow, or Oxygen concentration is less than 1.5% O2 as indicated by Outlet Oxygen Analyzer (64AI0001),
MONITOR Reactor Feed Heater for the following:

A

CCR - Very low Oxygen (<1.5%) or zero, as indicated by Reactor Feed Heater Stack Analyzer (64AI0001)

CCR - Fuel Gas to heater is increasing and the outlet temperature is decreasing (no change in feed to the heater)

OPER - Stack Smoking

OPER - Abnormal Noise or Rumbling

CCR - Heater coil outlet temperatures are fluctuating with no changes to the other process variables.

CCR - 1.1.2 - IF Emergency Alarm Activates or Oxygen concentration is less than 1.5% O2
PERFORM the following:

CCR - A - REDUCE Fuel Gas pressure to increase Oxygen concentration greater than 1.5% O2
