Dosage

A
  • IM administration:
    • 3-10 units after delivery of placenta
  • IV administration:
    • Mix 10-40 units in 1000 mL if nonhydrating diluent: Infused at 20-40 milliunits/min
    • Titrate to severity of bleeding and uterine response
