Is risk of growth stunting higher in male or female?
Male because eating disorders tend to manifest before the growth spurt whereas in females its AFTER the growth spurt
By what age do pyschiatric disorders tend to manifest?
Half by age 14 and 3/4 by age 24
What is the general trend of vitamin D levels as age increases?
Vitamin D insufficiency increases with age
What is the WHO definition of adolescence?
10-19 years
Name two changes that occurs during adolescent brain developement?
Significant increase in central dopaminergic regios of the brain and pronounced development of the pre-frontal cortex which is responsible for executive function

- Although prosecution for consensual sex between individuals under 16 is uncommon , it is still unlawful
