What makes up our safe reserve fuel?
30 minutes, 240kg of fuel. Fuel policy states cannot have less than 60 minutes of holding at B.
When can you enter the runway at an uncontrolled aerodrome
“On departure do not enter the runway unless confident that the aircraft will
be ready on reaching the takeoff point”. Also have RTG 2 limitations for clearances.
When do you open the cargo door after a dangerous goods incident in the cargo hold?
When passengers have disembarked.
Is a Passenger Manifest required for dispatch?
No, is PIC’s discretion.
Definition of an Unaccompanied Minor?
5 - 11 years old inclusive.
Minimum fuel declaration?
“MINIMUM FUEL”. Implies that if the current ATC clearances are NOT modified, aircraft should land with legal reserves.
Emergency fuel declaration?
“MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY FUEL” Going to land with less than legal reserves, aircraft is given priority.
