Vague central abdominal pain which migrates to RIF
Anorexia
Nausea and Vomiting
Tenderness over McBurneys point
Rovsings sign
Psoas sign- RIF pain when extending right hip
Alvarado score can help determine

A
Bloods
- raised WCC, CRP and neutrophils
Imaging
US 1st line in children and pregnant women
CTAP high specificty

gement?
A
Gold standard laparoscopic appendectomy
Conservative management with abx
- if high risk
- associated with higher recurrence
