What does fortification do with regard to yeast?
Fortification keeps yeast (and fermentation) at bay because the yeast cannot survive in higher levels of alcohol solution.
When does aromatised wine blending take place?
It takes place at the end of the production process.
Majority of aromatised wines are made where?
They are made in a region straddling the Alps from north-west Italy to south-east France. But they can be made anywhere.

Vermouth
What is the defining quality of vermouth?
Wormwood
