מֵיצָב

בַּמֵּיצָב הַוִּידֵאוֹ „מָשָׁל הַחַמָּ״ל”, טַלְיָה לָבִיא מַצִּיגָה עֶשֶׂר עֵדֻיּוֹת שֶׁל תַּצְפִּיתָנִיּוֹת שֶׁשֵּׁרְתוּ בְּמוּצָב נַחַל־עֹז וּבְּגִזְרַת עַזָּה. הָעֲבוֹדָה מְמוּקֶדֶת בְּפְּנֵיהֶן שֶׁל נָשִׁים צְעִירוֹת הַנּוֹשְׂאוֹת עַל כְּתֵפֵיהֶן אַחֲרָיוּת עֲצוּמָה, וּמַעֲלָה שְׁאֵלוֹת שֶׁל אַשְׁמָה, חֲבֵרוּת, גּוֹרָל וּמִקְרִיּוּת. מֶשֶׁךְ הַמֵּיצָב שָׁעָה; כָּל הַקְרָנָה מַתְחִילָה חֲמֵשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵה דַּקּוֹת לְאַחַר שָׁעָה עֲגוּלָה.

In the video installation “The Operations Room Parable,” Talia Lavie presents ten testimonies by female surveillance soldiers who served at the Nahal Oz outpost and in the Gaza sector. The work focuses on the faces of young women bearing immense responsibility, and raises questions of guilt, solidarity, fate, and chance. The installation runs for one hour; each screening begins 15 minutes past the hour.
