Fall to Strong side #1

A

From back mount bottom…they have a harness grip…

They pull you to their strong side, towards the choking arm…

Pull down on the choking arm…

Bring your top leg over and push down on their bottom hook… push it to the floor and bring your bottom leg over it, then put your top foot between the top of their bottom foot and the back of your bottom calf. Plant your top foot here to prevent them from getting their hook back…

Reach up with your weak side hand behind their head and pull their head forward and down into your shoulder…

Elevate your hips and walk away from their hooks as you keep pressure on their head…

Once your able step over toward their head as you continue to walk toward north south using their head as a pivot…

Once you’ve stepped all the way around you’ll be facing them…

Take side control top…

Fall to Weak Side with foot strip

A

They get back mount with the harness grip…

Pull down on the choking arm

Fall toward their weak side and pin their under hooking arm under your body. Pinch with your elbow…

Bring your head forward and then back. Grind into their face and get your head between their head and the mat…

Bring your top leg over and push down on their bottom hook… push it to the floor and bring your bottom leg over it, then put your top foot between the top of their bottom foot and the back of your bottom calf. Plant your top foot here to prevent them from getting their hook back…

Elevate your hips and begin to use your legs to drive in the direction of your head. Picture scraping the opponent off…

If you stay on top of their arm you can grab their knee and come up to side control top…

If they try for mount push the knee away and go for half guard with the under hook

No seatbelt Grip

A

From back mount bottom, no harness grip but the opponent has their hooks in…

Lean as far forward as possible, protecting your neck by resting your chin in your hands. Keep your elbows tight and inside their legs/ knees…

When they try for an attack their attention will be diverted and their hooks and legs should loosen. When this happens, slide back and down and bring one of your legs towards your centerline to shake off the hook…

Bringing your opposite elbow to the mat inside their leg and turn towards that elbow so that you’re straddling the leg with your head on the inside to prevent the guillotine and both arm gripping their thigh…

Bring your bottom arm to the outside of their leg and drive forward with both arms outstretched to come to side control with a leg lace…

Fall to Strong side #2

A

If #2 doesn’t work distract by trying to strip a hook for Back Escape from strong side, as they defend that, go back to #1

From back mount bottom, the opponent has a harness grip…

Pull down on the choking arm, keeping your elbow in…

Reach your other arm across your midline and hook the tricep on the choking arm, blocking them from completing the RNC…

Fall to your side towards the choking arm pinning it and the same side leg to the mat…

Wait until they change their grips or loosen to adjust their position…

Work the hand pulling the elbow under the pinned choking arm and inch it up your face and around your head. This should pull the choking arm over your head and onto the other side of your neck. Keep control of the arm as it moves…

Both hands will now be on the same side of your body, (the top side)…

Keep control of the arm as you turn/ shrimp to face them. Grab and control their knee to prevent the mount…

Put both hands on their knee and shrimp away to recover guard…

Fall to weak side basic

A

They have a seat belt grip and are on your back…

Bridge straight back and into them. Lift your head to make space and move it to the other side of their head. Your head should now be on the same side as their under hooking arm and the under hook should be trapped by your body weight.
Bridge back further so that your shoulders and head are now on on the mat…

Start walking away from them in a semicircle stepping over their leg and keeping pressure on their shoulders and the trapped arm…

Keep walking to the side until you are in a side control position but with your back facing them. Keep the pressure on…

Turn into them and take side control…
