Important questions to assess behaviour
When does the behaviour occur
- whats the duration, is it every day
When did it start
- Did something happen around that time, what causes it
What triggers the behaviour
- Are there situations where it doesn’t occur (exceptions)
What is the reaction of the staff/caregivers
Think of interventions (antecedents) that may change the behaviour outcomes
