Eye level shot
This is when the camera is at eye level of the subject. This puts the viewer on an equal status with the subject
High angle shot
This looks down on the subject. This puts the viewer in a superior position to the subject or it makes the subject appear weak or inferior
Low angle shot
This looks up at the subject. It gives the subject the appearance of strength and power
Extreme Close-up (ECU)
This may perhaps frame only a part of the human face which includes the eyes or mouth or the hand and foot. This can frame anything really small.
Close up shot
This shot increases usually frames an object about the size of a human head which usually doesn’t include the shoulders
Medium close up shot
This shot indicates a space equivalent to a person’s heard and shoulders
Medium shot
This shot includes space in which would frame a person’s head and torso. This shot can also encompass two people trading next to each other.
Medium long shot
A medium long shot can frame one or two people standing up that shows their whole body
Long shot
A long shot will be able to take an entire room or a large group of something.
Extreme long shot
An extremely long shot might be able to see an entire house or just anything large
