Q

what is the solution to the ominvores paradox

A

“It is thought that children are less likely than adults to try new foods, in part because they have not yet learned cultural rules regarding what is safe and edible. A child who is exposed repeatedly to new items looses the fear of new foods faster then one who experiences a limited diet” (see Text)

A

Culture is a major determinant of human food choice. There is evidence that traditions, beliefs and values are among the main factors influencing preference, mode of food preparation, serving and nutritional status.
