Proprioceptive feedback a type of performance feedback that is the internal stimulation generated from movement of the body in space and by the position and movement of parts of the key with respect to others

Example: after a young athlete has learned a sport skill the proprioceptive feedback enables the individual to successfully repeat that skill such as shooting a basketball accurately from the free throw line

A

External informational feedback is a judgment provided to an athlete about the quality of performance that the athlete just displayed

Example: a figure skater will know from the proprioceptive feedback whether of not a jump has been landed but the figure skater will have difficulty judging the quality of his/ her choreographed presentation entail the skater hears the presentation score from the judges
