What are somatic sensory fibers?
Fibers delivering information to the skeletal muscles and joints. This is considered our voluntary nervous system.
What are visceral sensory fibers?
Fibers that transmit information to the visceral organs. This is considered part of our involuntary nervous system.
What does that autonomic nervous system control?
Activities of smooth and cardiac muscles as well as those of the glands.
What are the two parts of the autonomic nervous system?
Sympathetic, and parasympathetic.
