When does it present?

A

Genetic condition affecting small intestine, characterised by prolamine (protein found in gluten) sensitivity leading to villous atrophy and malabsorption

Symptoms:
Abdominal pain
N+V
Diarrhoea
Weight loss

Signs:
Weight loss/Failure To Thrive
Anaemia
Pallor
Abdominal distension
Steatorrhoea
Dermatitis herpetiformis
