First 1-2 days…
Coryza (Runny nose, sneeze, sore throat)
Dry cough
Low grade fever

Then…
SOB
Respiratory distress - Tachypnoea, accessory muscle use
Widespread expiratory wheeze on auscultation

Management of viral induced wheeze?

Answer 3

Inhaled salbutamolstarted on 10 puffs every 2 hours and gradually weaned down
Oral prednisolone 3 days
O2 if needed
