Both parties should be allowed to discuss their position on the claim items being discussed and their reasoning for their position. All parties should look to maintain their professionalism, remain calm and act with respect and courtesy at all times

Renegotiating the contract when unforeseen circumstances arise, like a change in project scope or a delay in obtaining necessary permits.

I communicated effectively during the presentation of monthly cost reports. I answer questions clearly and concisely and stay on topic.

I have a collaborative negotiating style where I reach mutually agreeable solutions for both party’s,
Give me an example of when you have communicated using a complex written report.
I communicate using my cost report every month, showing a high-level executive summary and delving into the details when asked. It has visual graphs and data driven benchmarks.

It is appropriate when I need to portray complex financial data.

I focused on establishing a collaborative, principled approach, prioritizing mutual interests and objective criteria.

A combination of in person and virtual. More often than not, our leadership team is located offsite, so I would include everyone from our team.

For negotiations, I would prefer face to face as you can be more persuasive.
