What does ‘For as long as I can remember’ mean?

A

A way of referring to how long one is able to think on something in the past. Used to express that something has been happening or has been true since the earliest point in one’s memory.

  1. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been having a problem being in a relationship.
  2. For as long as I can remember, Mr. Smith has been a teacher at that school.
  3. For as long as I can remember, my mom has cooked breakfast for us every morning.

What does ‘To lose sleep over’ mean?

A

To worry about something so much that a person cannot sleep. To worry about something so much that it affects your ability to sleep; to be very concerned or anxious about something.
