What does ‘elated’ mean?
Extremely happy and excited; feeling great joy or delight
Examples: She was elated when she got accepted to her dream university. The team was elated after winning the championship game. The children were elated to see snow falling on Christmas morning.
What does ‘fleeting’ mean?
Passing quickly; lasting only a brief time; transient.
Examples: The fleeting moments of sunset painted the sky in beautiful colors. Her fame was fleeting, lasting only a few months. He caught a fleeting glimpse of the rare bird before it flew away.
What does ‘fluctuate’ mean?
To change continually; rise and fall irregularly; vary unpredictably.
Examples: Stock prices tend to fluctuate throughout the trading day. Her mood would fluctuate between extreme happiness and sadness. Temperature can fluctuate dramatically in desert regions.
