What does ‘That reminds me’ mean?
Something in the conversation brings something else to mind.
Examples: 1. That reminds me. I need to go meet my friend. 2. That reminds me. I have to write my essay tonight. 3. That reminds me. Are you going to the game tonight?
What does ‘Come to think of it’ mean?
Used when suddenly remembering or realizing something during a conversation.
Examples: 1. Come to think of it, I haven’t eaten all day. 2. Come to think of it, we never discussed the budget. 3. Come to think of it, she wasn’t at the meeting yesterday.
What does ‘If worst comes to worst’ mean?
If the situation gets really bad. It’s often used when discussing backup plans or last-resort options.
Examples: 1. If worst comes to worst, we will just turn around and go back home. 2. If worst comes to worst, we can just take it back and get a refund. 3. If worst comes to worst, we can just hang out at my house. 4. What if the restaurant is fully booked? If worst comes to worst, we can order takeout and eat at home.
