Day 68 - Adjective Practice Flashcards

1
Q
  1. GANZ…completely / totally
  2. WAHRSCHEINLICH…probably
  3. SONST…else / otherwise
  4. DORT, DA…there
*The difference between these words is largely regional. In south west Germany they tend to say dort over da. Some also use da in place of hier (here). In this sense, da can be used to indicate that something is near the speaker, while dort is used to indicate something is away from the speaker. Some speakers favor dort when referring to places, like a city or region.
  5. NUR…only / simply
  6. IMMER…always
  7. NIE…never
  8. SOGAR…even
  9. KAUM…hardly
