How does the concept of death change during development?
At what age is there no understanding of death? At what age is death thought to be reversible and when do you start understanding the finality of death?
0-3 = no understanding of death
3-6 = belief that death is reversible
6 years old = able to understand finality of death
Describe the 5 tanner stages between M vs F
Stage 1: Prepubertal
Stage 2 (9-11)
F - beast bud
M - Slight enlargement of genitals
Both - slight pubic hair
Stage 3 - (12-14)
F - Growth spurt
M - Spermarche
Stage 4 (14-15)
F - Menarche
M- Growth Spurt
Stage 5: (15-16) Full sexual maturation
What are Kluber Ross’ 5 Stages of Grief?
Think “DABDA”
Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance
