Use antibodies to detect the presence of multiple substances and their metabolites. Lack specificity and sensitivity.
Confirmatory Drug Test
Uses gas chromatography/mass spectrometry or high performance liquid chromatography. Samples are sent to labs for analysis. Can detect small amounts of specific drugs more accurately than IA tests.
