Revolution: time it takes something to make a complete orbit ( a year )

Equinoxes: times of the year when the sun is directly over the equator. Day and Night are the same length ( spring- march 20,21,22 - fall - September 20,21,22)
Solstices: times of the year when the sun reaches its furthest north or south (summer- June 20,21,22 - winter- December 20,21,22)
