A Client asks you to reduce your fee, how do you proceed?
I would first raise this with my commission manager/line manager, then I would schedule a meeting with the client to understand the drivers behind asking a reduction, explaining what our fee/scope of service is based on – and try to offer a solution without reducing our fee (i.e. omissions from scope etc)
If a contractor offers to buy you a coffee whilst agreeing a valuation, what do you do?
