What was the Gabbert (2003) study about
A
Showed pairs of participants a video of the same crime from different perspectives. 71% of participants in discussion group mistakenly recalled information given to them by their partner as information they had witnessed. This is known as Memory conformity-internalised partners information as their own.

A
Someone might confess to a crime due to the fact they believe that if they confess they will be treated better or receive a less harsh sentence

What is Memory Representation (internalisation)
A
Due to investigator/court and everything person has gone through, person may internalise and believe they actually committed a crime, even though they didn’t.
