Q

How does temperature affect malaria?

A

27 degrees is optimum temp for mosquitos to develop, so lower temps can result in mosquitos not being able to develop properly so cant transmit

Q

How does humidity affect malaria?

A

Mosquitos survive better under high humidity. If average monthly relative humidity is below 60%, its believed that the life of mosquito is short so little malaria transmission
