A

Hitler used the olympics to show Nazi propaganda. To his embarrassment, a group of African American athletes won 13 medals, including Jesse Owens who won 4 gold medals, refuting Hitler’s aryan race superiority claims.
Hitler then refused to present Owens’ medals

There was a ‘Black Power’ demonstration, the protest was by Americans Tommie Smith and John Carlos against racism in the USA.
They were suspended from the Games and expelled from the olympic village.

8 Palestinian terrorists broke into Israeli athletes’ rooms, killed 2 and held 9 hostages for 24 hours demanding that 234 Palestinians, that were imprisoned in Israel were released.
All hostages, 5 terrorists and 1 German police officer were killed during a shootout.

A

USA lead a boycott of the games in protest to the host country’s military invasion of Afghanistan.
More than 60 countries did not take part.

A

It is responsible for the Olympic games.
