What are the benefits of an early ko
Reduce amount of alcohol consumed before games which should lead to less antisocial behaviour
What are the cons of an early ko
The lack of pre match drinking may lead to more after the game and therefore the antisocial behaviour takes place in more public places.
Also may lose pubs etc. profit
What are the benefits of separating fans
Less chance of verbal and physical abuse around and inside the stadium
What are the cons of separating fans
More money is required to spend on security/stewards. This may also lead to more fights away from the stadium but instead in town centres etc.
What are the benefits of alcohol restrictions
Similar to early Ko, less antisocial behaviour due to the effect of alcohol not being present
What are the cons of alcohol restriction
Difficult to enforce as people can bring their own.
May lead to more pre + post match drinking
What are the benefits of travel restrictions
Known offenders of hooliganism can be restricted from buying tickets to the game and travel tickets
What are the cons of travel restrictions
Can be difficult to enforce as people can use fake ID or make their own way to games
