Plan the seating of guests based on table availability, number in party, when the last time the server was sat, and hand off the guest to the seater.

Walks the guest to their table, setting pace for flow of room
Chat with them while walking to the table
Develop relationship
Introduce server and daily food features/events

Director

Only on busy shifts
Helps to say hello to each guest as they arrive, and directing them to the right place.
No guest get's lost
