Una notte, Leone si sta preparando per andare a letto.
One night, Lion is getting ready for bed.
Legge le sue favole della buona notte preferite e canta le sue canzoni della buonanotte preferite.
. He reads his favorite bedtime stories and sings his favorite bedtime songs.
Accende la lampada notturna. Poi sente un rumore…
He turns on his night-light. Then he hears a noise…
“Cos’è quel rumore?” sussurra.
what is that noise, he whispers
“Quel rumore… viene fuori dalla finestra!”
That noise, its coming from outside the window
Scende dal letto
He gets out of bed
Afferra una mazza da palla da baseball
He grabs a baseball bat
in punta di piedi, si avvicina alla finestra.
tip toes toward the widow
“È un mostro!” pensa Leone.
“He’s a monster!” Leo thinks.
Afferra il casco che usa per andare in bici e se lo infila in testa per proteggersi.
He grabs the helmet he uses to ride his bike and puts it on his head to protect himself.
Sente di nuovo il rumore.
He hears the noise again.
Leone va nel panico. “Si sta avvicinando!
Leo panics. “You are approaching!
Sembra il mostro più GROSSO e SPAVENTOSO di tutti i tempi!”
It looks like the BIGGEST and SCAREST monster of all time! “
“AHHHH!” grida Leone. Scappa dalla finestra e si nasconde sotto il letto
“AHHHH!” shouts Leo. He runs out of the window and hides under the bed
Si copre la testa con la coperta
He covers his head with the blanket
Stringe la mazza da baseball tra le mani e…
He holds the baseball hat in his hands and
Una ranocchia salta sul davanzale della finestra.
A frog jumps on the windowsill
La ranocchia, con indosso un tutù e delle scarpette da tip-tap, fa un balletto.
The frog, wearing a tutu and tap shoes, does a ballet.
“Ehilà, Leone! Ci sei?” dice la ranocchia.
“Hi there, Leone! You are there?” says the frog.
Guarda dentro la camera da dietro la finestra e vede Leone che si nasconde sotto il letto.
He looks inside the room from behind the window and sees Leone hiding under the bed.
È avvolto in una coperta… ha in testa un casco da bicicletta… in mano stringe una mazza da baseball.
He’s wrapped in a blanket… he’s wearing a bicycle helmet… he’s holding a baseball bat in his hand.
Ha un aspetto ridicolo.
It looks ridiculous.
(E, a essere onesti, lui si sente ridicolo.)
And, to be honest, he feels ridiculous
“Uhm… ho dei nuovi passi di danza da farti vedere,” gli dice la ranocchia.
“Um… I have some new dance moves for you to see,” the frog tells him.
