What do antibodies do?
Antibodies fight specific diseases, made in the White blood cells
What do antigens do?
Antigens are the signature of the disease, and are put in vaccines
What does a vaccination do?
A vaccination contains a weaker dose of the disease that helps prevent illness
How do white blood cells destroy microbes?
White blood cells destroy microbes by engulfing and digesting them
How is acid rain formed?
The carbon dioxide in the atmosphere dissolves in the clouds to make it slightly acidic

AIDS is the disease caused by HIV
What is the vertical transmission of a disease?
Transmitted mother to baby
What is horizontal transmission of a disease?
Transmitted person to person
What do white blood cells do?
White blood cells destroy all pathogen entering the immune system
