Hep B, C + HIV viruses may be spread by blood to blood contact

• cover our cuts, sore, chapped skin or other wounds with waterproof dressing
• wear disposable gloves
• use face shield during resuscitation

Prevent infection between you + casualty

• wash your hands or use alcohol gel
• wear disposable gloves
• do not touch an open wound without gloves on
• do not breathe, cough or sneeze over a wound or a casualty
