Q
NADH (reduced form)
A
carries electrons and is a good electron donator
2

A
doesn’t carry electrons and is a good electron acceptor
3

FADH2 (reduced form)
A
carries electrons and is a good electron donator
4

FAD (O2 form)
A
doesn’t carry electrons and is a good electron acceptor
5
Q
Glucose uptake
A
Facilitated by GLUT transporters. GLUT-1 present in all cells all the time, GLUT-4 in muscle and adipose tissue (insulin-sensitive) and GLUT-2 in liver and pancreas. Glucose can diffuse in/out of cells through receptors, however, once kinase used to form G6P, it is trapped.
