Loe 1 Flashcards
What needs to be accomplished prior to the Departure WAANT Briefing?
One pilot reads the ATC clearance in its entirety. The other pilot simultaneously verifies the route on the ROUTE page, the ADS-B call sign, the clearance altitude limit, and squawk code.
The PM reads the fixes, speeds, and altitudes from the departure, enroute, and arrival charts through the top of descent (TOD)
Crosswind Takeoff
During rotation, keep the control wheel in the displaced position to maintain the wings level during liftoff. Smoothly recover from the sideslip by slowly neutralizing the control wheel and rudder pedals after liftoff.
What needs to be reviewed for a low visibility takeoff?
NOTE: When visibility is less than RVR 1,200, review the Surface Movement Guidance & Control System (SMGCS) Low Visibility Taxi Routes Chart, when published.
