Nursing intervention

A

Potential for K+ supplements - especially if also taking digoxin (a-fib medication)
Monitor if patient is taking aminoglycoside antibiotics (gentamicin) - possible added nephro/oto-toxicity
Overdose treatment is fluids and potentially vasopressor meds
