Etiology

A

CL. septicum produce two major toxin (necrotic toxin alpha,beta)
- هذول السموم بكسروا النسيج وبصير النسيج متحلل وهاذ بزيد من انتشار البكتيريا وهمي عبارة عن necrotic toxin

Pathogenesis

A

The bacteria enter through a wound and produce necrotic toxins that destroy tissue and cause cell death. The anaerobic environment enhances bacterial growth, allowing the toxins to spread to the blood and then to the central nervous system

Clinical signs

A
  • nonspecific: depression, weakness, anorexia, high fever sometimes normal body temperature, rapid respiration and sometimes muscletremors,lameness.
  • In acute phase or early phase: the swollen tissue is painful
