Bronchospasm:
Severe bronchospasm is more likely when combined with mitomycin-C.

Neurotoxicity:
Common, cumulative sensory and motor neuropathies (e.g. paresthesia, weakness, jaw pain, ileus).
➡️ Monitor regularly; may require dose reduction, interruption, or discontinuation.
Motor weakness may progress and needs prompt action.
Recovery is usually slow but complete.
