BOTH ENGINES FLAME OUT

Notes:

  1. Left PFD/ND remain
  2. VHF 1 and Transponder 1 remain.
  3. IRS 2 and 3 can be restored to ATT mode
  4. Max range = Green Dot = 3nm/1000 feet
  5. No hydraulics = no flaps, altn gear extension, no antiskid.
  6. Cabin will slowly depressurization
  7. APU may be available - start below 25000 ft for best chance

(SEI will show engine parameters to confirm double engine failure)

ENGINE START FAULT

  • call - “ QRH Engine Start Fault”

Note:

If the fault disappears after selecting the START PB it is an indication of a starter cut-out fault: the operation may continue.

If the fault indication persists, it is an indication that the starter valve has failed in the OPEN position. On the ground select all bleeds off to prevent the starter from overheating. When starting with an external air source, have the air supply disconnected.

Notes:

  1. For a subsequent start, select RELIGHT ignition before selecting the FUEL lever to OPEN.
  2. Normal use of the starter is limited to 4 attempts (2 min each) with. 30 second rundown between each attempt. After 4 attempts allow at least 15 minutes cooling before further start attempts.
  3. If an engine fails to light up within 30 seconds of selecting the FUEL lever to OPEN, FUEL lever to SHUT.
