CABIN ALTITUDE or Rapid Depressurization
1) Don the Oxygen Mask
2)Establish Crew Communications
3)Check the Cabin Altitude and Rate
4) IF the cabin altitude is uncontrollable:
PASS OXY switch……..push and hold for 1 sec
descend to the lowest safe alt or 10,000’
To Descend:
TL’s to Idle, extend speed brakes, IF structural integrity is in doubt limit A/S and avoid high loads, descend at VMO/MMO
Aborted Engine Start
Fuel Control Switch..(affected side)…..CUTOFF
Dual Engine Failure
1)Engine Start selectors (both)…..FLT
2)Thrust Levers (both)…..Idle
(757) Do not advance thrust levers during engine
recovery until above 50% N3
3)Fuel Control switches (both)….Cutoff then Run
4)IF engine appears stalled OR EGT approaches the Stby Engine Indicator placard limit:………
FUEL CONTROL SWITCH (affected engine)…Confirm . . . CUTOFF,
If engine appears stalled again or EGT approaches the Standby Engine Indicator placard limit, repeat as needed.
