Q

Cabin Altitude / Depressurisation

A
  1. Put on oxygen mask
  2. Establish crew communication
  3. Check the cabin altitude and rate
  4. IF the cabin altitude is uncontrollable :
    i. Passenger oxygen masks …. PUSH & hold 1 sec
ii. WITHOUT DELAY, descend to the lowest safe altitude
or 15,000ft (10,000ft if fuel endurance not an issue)

If on NAT track, R5 or L5 in FMC, otherwise heading
set something lower in MCP alt
FLCH
Open speed window, if not structural, increase speed
full speedbrake
ensure thrust levers IDLE
Finesse - set 10,000 or 15,000
