Classification of minerals
Macronutrients: (calcium, sodium and potassium) they are needed in large amounts
Trace minerals: (iron,fluoride,iodine and zinc) are needed in small amounts

Milk,
cheese,
yoghurt,

Functions of calcium
Builds strong and healthy bones and teeth
It maintains good bone density in adults and older people
Calcium defuse diseases
Rickets: when there is a problem with the bone formation when there is a lack of calcium or vitamin d in the diet
Osteoporosis: this is a bone disease that causes bones to become weak and break easily most common in older woman

Needs to manufacture haemoglobin. Thai is a substance in red blood cells that is needed to carry oxegyn around the blood in the body
Iron deficiency
Anaemia is a condition caused by lack of iron. Symptoms are tiredness, dizziness, and paleness

Salt is required to help control water balance in the body.
What happens if you have too much salt
High blood pressure
Coronary heart disease
Strokes
Kidney problems
How to reduce salt intake
Do not have salt on the table
Avoid processed foods
Do not add alt while cooking
