*treatment :No Treatment is needed (self resolution )

    *Tx: volume resuscitation
    with packed RBCs,
    Fresh frozen plasma

tachycardia
spongy feeling scalp
head circumference rabidly increases
20-50 % loss of blood volume

Cephalohematoma etiology and treatment

A
  • Forceps assisted delivery ( facial nerve palsy as AE)
    Subperiosteal bleeding
    Usually with Jaundice – measure bilirubin
  • Tx:rezolve by it self
    weeks to months(2 weeks to 3 months )
