Flashcards in Neuro Optometry Deck (3)
Neurons found in the brain and spinal cord that conduct impulses between neurons such as from afferent to efferent neurons.
AKA: association neurons or interneurons.
Afferent vs Efferent
- Afferent pathways send information to your central nervous system (CNS), or peripheral nervous system (PNS).
- Efferent pathways send signals from those two locations to your muscles.
