Frequent Daytime Urination
Pollakiuria , also called extraordinary daytime urinary frequency, is a benign condition defined as frequent small voids in a previously toilet trained child with no polyuria or evidence of infection. The condition is self-limited with an average duration of 7-12 months.
McCune-Albright syndrome
Random mutation in GNAS (G protein) gene with evidence of mosaicism. Associated with classic asymmetrical coast of Maine cafe-au-lait spot with polyostotic fibrous dysplasia, scoliosis with precocious menarche and thelarche (increased serum oestrogen concentrations) and hyperthyroidism, acromegaly.
