Define a power:

A power of a number means multiplying another number by itself a certain number of times.
Ex:3 to the power of 3 means doing 3x3x3=9x3=27

What is another word for "to the power of 2"?

Instead of saying "4 to the power of 2" ,you could say "4 squared".

Define a fraction:

A fraction is a division where the dividend is moved to the left of a slash and the diviser is moved to the right of the same slash.
Ex:16:4=16/4

What is the dividend renamed to when a division is changed to a fraction?

The dividend is renamed "numerator".

What is the diviser renamed to when a division is changed into a fraction?

The diviser is renamed "denominator".
