Time
Research can be time-consuming, especially if involves large sample sizes or lengthy procedures
The time constraint may limit the depth and scope of the investigation
Opportunity
Opportunities may or may not present themselves, gatekeepers may prevent the opportunity from taking place
Access
Research in places such as schools or prisons would be difficult to access due to requiring permission to access these places
Money
Research can be very expensive, if there is a budget involved the researcher may be limited as to what methods they can use
Characteristics
If the characteristics of the researcher don’t combine with the subjects they may struggle to gain a rapport and not get as in depth answers
