Self Completion
a survey that is designed to be completed by the respondent without the assistance of an interviewer
Mailed/ Online
tool of research where an answerer sends his answers through mail or email to the researcher
Interviewer present
face-to-face survey, an interviewer is physically present to ask the survey questions and to assist the respondent in answering them
Open & Closed Questions
Open-ended questions allow participants to give a free-form text answer. Closed questions (or closed-ended questions) restrict participants to one of a limited set of possible answers

Leading Questions
survey questions that encourage or guide the respondent towards a desired answer
